GERYON E2900-MS Vacuum Sealer Machine

This is the first GERYON E2900-MS Vacuum Sealer Machine we have purchased. I'm not a big reader so I took time to look for a tutorial online that was a huge help.

If you follow a few simple directions it works flawlessly almost every time however sometimes you do have to stop it and realign but that's to be expected and just restart with no trouble. I've tried numerous models of Food Saver but just could not bring myself to pay that type of money and wanted to try a more budget-friendly option and this was the one for us and has not let us down yet.

I have yet to try the canister part of this but I'm sure it works wonderfully. Kitchen appliances like this usually intimidate me. . . don't let this machine do that to you! It's honestly so easy to set up and use. After five-ish minutes of looking over the booklet and features, I was ready to roll! The role of bags that can be customized to any size is ideal for larger bulkier items.

I was able to fit three salmon filets with room to spare. Which will help save room in my freezer. I like that GERYON E2900-MS Vacuum Sealer Machine has a simple button and options. There is an option for wet/dry and gentle/normal to accommodate all food types. You would recommend this to anyone looking for a vacuum sealer that doesn't want the hassle of some bulky complicated machine. You can't beat the price.

I went to a store to look at GERYON E2900-MS Vacuum Sealer Machine and was amazed at how much they wanted for the brand-name sealers. I ordered a cheaper unit from BestProduct Company. The delivery was fast as the sealer arrived the next day. When I opened the box I was surprised at how well it looked. However, I had never seen a sealer before that you could spin on a marble countertop.

As I was looking at the unit discovered that the bottom was warped so much I could use this as a spinner. I contacted BestProduct Company return and had a replacement sent. The next morning I returned the defective unit via the agreed procedure and received the replacement unit later that day. WOW! what speedy service. I put the new GERYON Vacuum Sealer to work to see what it does.

With the expectation that a clone device may not work like a Food Saver product, I put the GERYON to the test. This unit for the price is pretty well built and the buttons are touch-sensitive and very responsive. The included sealer bags are enough to get you started which is a nice feature to help get acquainted with the sealing processes.

My first few bags did not seal properly until I inset the bags farther into the unit. Once I got the hang of how things work the process was easier and quicker. The vacuum air levels are sufficient for my needs at this point and have not presented an issue for me. If you are uncertain as to what to do if you are looking for a Vacuum Sealer as a beginner definitely give this once a try as everything you need is in the box ready to go.

You simply cannot afford to not give this a try as you do get a lot of bang for the buck in the box. It worked like a charm. I like the fact that you can use bag rolls instead of relying on precut bags. This way you can customize the size you need and eliminate some waste. Some people complained about a lack of cutter, but I had a Fiskar paper cutter on hand and it did a nice job cutting a straight clean line.

The vacuum, time it took to seal and features of this sealer are great. Easy to break down larger packages of meat into smaller portions for two and pop them into the freezer instead of wrestling with foil and zip lock bags. I just unboxed the sealer from Geryon. The package came securely. GERYON E2900-MS Vacuum Sealer Machine was wrapped in plastic with placeholders then placed in its branded box.

Easy to u box. Simple buttons to guide you on what you want to do whether seal or do a vacuum seal. The seal function works on pretty much any type of plastic. There are 2 locking clips that hold the bag in place. That's a good feature that allows you to set it. Lock. Seal it and a light will appear once the operation is complete. Easy peasy. Great price too.

Be aware there are a lot of plastic parts so don't go banging it around as something will give. Overall, so far real good. Purchased the Geryon vacuum sealer in June 2020. I chose this brand of Geryon based on high reviews. This is the first vacuum sealer I've ever owned. Super simple to use with great directions. A guide is included to educate you as to which settings to use when vacuum-sealing your foods.

Product update :

The company emailed me directly and sent me a new machine free of charge and seems to be working fine now. Didn't have to send the broken one back and mess with all the shipping. Seals appear to be holding now and I have sealed several items. Great customer support! Seals do not seem to hold. I packaged multiple items and when I went back to look in my freezer, the seal failed on a couple of them.

Also, it doesn't seem to really suck all the air out. It sucks most of it out, but say a pot roast, for example, there will still be pockets of air; defeating the purpose of the machine. GERYON E2900-MS Vacuum Sealer Machine is easy to use and clean, but I would say it's good for short-term storage or sous-vide cooking. Just not reliable for long-term storage in my opinion.
