I bought a pair of these for my RV and use them around the farm too. It's the best Champion 3400 Dual Fuel Inverter Generator. I have ever purchased! Let me give you some background - I HATE gasoline generators because when you REALLY need them, and you pull them out of long-term storage, the gas has gone bad after sitting for too long in storage. I have several in my junk pile with corroded carbs.

Once I switched to propane-only generators they always start right up! I bought their larger contractor-style generator for my house and hurricane duty, but it's just too loud for the RV on camping trips so I bought a pair of these with the combiner kit. I am beyond happy with them! For the RV, these work great. They are easy to use, easy to start, and most importantly, easy to man-handle in and out of the truck bed.

I never ever EVER use gasoline in them, I always use propane! I am 56 years old and I am able to man-handle them into and out of the truck bed. AND these are just the right size so that they will just fit under my bed cover (with a little room to spare) to keep them out of the rain (Yes, we have had to run them during storms) and they don't get too hot and they work great as long as the tailgate is down and they are just peeking out of the back with the exhaust pointed out the rear.

Here's an added benefit we REALLY appreciate - we put one of them in a little trailer behind a lawn tractor with a propane tank and now we can use things like an electric chain saw and other power tools ANYWHERE on our farm! Again, for using electric devices out there, anywhere on the farm, this Champion 3400 Dual Fuel Inverter Generator is awesome. No more wasting time getting an old gas generator out of storage just to find that the carb is all gunked up after sitting for 9-10 months!

It starts right up! If the battery is dead, you just pull the pull start and it starts right up on the first or second crank! When we go to tailgate sales and flea markets, we use one of these to power our booth - it's quiet enough and has plenty of power to show off our wares on the flea market tables. It's so simple my wife has no problems operating it! This generator is the best generator I have ever purchased, hands down!

I use them quite a bit more than I ever imagined I would around the farm for electric weed eaters, chainsaws, and even a small welder rig or air compressor! Using the combiner on power-saving mode, our RV air conditioning always works with no problems...I have told ALL my friends, THIS is the generator to have in your garage/barn. I will NEVER EVER buy another gasoline or diesel generator again!

The Champion 3400 Dual Fuel Inverter Generator runs my camper and my friend's camper for 5 days (TV, satellite, lots of coffee, and all the other power suck the rig but no air conditioning is required). We went fishing and stopped it. Without it runs the rest of the time (I even forgot that it ran one day and it ran all day). All the campers in the tent were commenting that they had not heard it.

One camper told me he heard it for a minute one night, but then my furnace kicked in and that was way louder. I put the generator in a small screened tent (exhaust side open) with the exhaust facing away from the group. I was on propane the entire time. So much cleaner than gas. I will never use gas with this unless I have to. At-home testing this thing ran my air conditioning on propane with no problem.
